Oratorios Are Us! If you love the big choral-orchestral works, the TCS is for you. Our repertoire includes Haydn’s The Creation and Mass in Time of War, Mozart’s Requiem, Vaughn Williams’ Hodie and Sea Symphony, Gounod’s St. Cecilia Mass, Saint-Saens’ Christmas Oratorio, and Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Singing great repertoire with 100+ people and orchestra is exhilarating.

Rehearsals: Monday nights from Sept. to May, 7:30-9:30 PM. at Christ Church, Deer Park, 1570 Yonge St. at Heath St. West. (2 blocks north of St. Clair). Dress rehearsals for the Sunday afternoon concerts are on the Saturday immediately preceding the concert, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Concerts: Three per season, all with orchestra. We rely on our members to distribute flyers and sell tickets. Concert dress is your own clothes; all black, long-sleeved for women, tuxedos for men.

Expenses: Membership fee for the season: $110
