Making Music in the Heart of Our City
In 1992, the Toronto Classical Singers presented its first concert with orchestra, four soloists and 26 eager singers to a capacity crowd at Christ Church Deer Park, establishing a tradition that has endured over the past 20 years.
TCS is now an impressive choir of 100 talented singers and has flourished under the direction of its artistic founder Jurgen Petrenko. TCS proudly produces three performances each year, enthralling audiences with its versatility and tenacity, tackling the works of composers who have earned a place in music history equally for their notorious lives as for their wonderful music.
